Meanwhile, mesh provides flexible breathable strength, and leather offers natural resilience when properly conditioned.

Which strap material is the most comfortable for sensitive skin?

When wearing a mesh strap for workouts, keep in mind that the watch head itself also has specific care requirements: while quartz watches are generally resistant to movement like jogging or running, it is better to avoid jogging with automatic watches, as the intense mechanical shock and vibrations can damage their internal parts. Additionally, you should always take your watch off for high-impact sports or any activities where the case or glass could be heavily scratched or shattered.

Is the mesh strap suitable for swimming in the pool or the ocean?

While the stainless steel mesh itself is water-resistant, we advise against swimming in pools or the ocean with 5 ATM or 10 ATM watches to protect the watch head. Furthermore, pool chlorine and ocean salt can easily become trapped in the fine mesh gaps if not thoroughly rinsed with fresh water immediately.

Can I wear my mesh strap in the sauna, or do heat and humidity affect it?

The woven design provides excellent airflow and the metal is unaffected by humidity. However, you should not wear it in the sauna, as the extreme heat and humidity can damage the watch head's internal seals and mechanism.

What is the best way for cleaning and washing my mesh strap?

For routine care, always rinse your stainless steel mesh strap with fresh water immediately after exposure to heavy sweat, pool chlorine, or saltwater to prevent chemical buildup.
